From completing the E105 study materials along with specific children that are in my setting this encouraged me to investigate how I support the rights of children who may have specific additional needs and what my documentation in my setting says about it. I examined the DENI Curricular Guidance for Pre School (2006) and the UNCRC (United Nation 1989) using specific questions to create links to speech and language. Furthermore I examined the Additional Needs policy along with Curriculum policy within my setting to see if my internal guidance followed legal frameworks and to find out if they are effective in telling me about the wellbeing children with additional needs.
