Part A: With reference to what you have learnt about City Road, outline how material things contribute towards differences on a street which you know.

n this TMA I am going to compare Main Street in Coatbridge Town Centre to City Road in Cardiff; Coatbridge Main Street is approximately one mile long and is located in the centre if the town. There are a number of similarities and differences between Main Street and City Road; the part of Main Street that I have chosen to focus this assignment on is directly in the centre of Coatbridge and is roughly  mile long and is at the heart of the Local Community.

Coatbridge Main Street has a number of shops, businesses and Public Services located on both sides of the street; there are a number of charity shops, clothes shops, banks and building societies, restaurants/ takeaways and pubs. There is also a small shopping centre which mainly consists of small market stalls run by the local ethnic minority groups.
