Feminist debates were in process for a long time during the 20th century, when many of the feminist movements were at its peak. The selection of feminist movements go a long way from the first wave feminism during the times of world war I; then the second wave feminism which was largely associated with radical feminism of feminist movements during the late 1960s and 1970s. Lastly third wave feminists, who were hugely empowered by the first and second wave feminism, but instead it came with more power and opportunities, incomparable to what the feminist world had quite seen before (Rampton 2008).
