What Makes Girls Girls (chapter 4)
• “Gender is a bunch of socially constructed hooey”
• Culture of Girlhood, nature vs nurture
• Concept of labeling
• Baby boys and girls share same interests
• Child development
o Boys and girls need to talk to one another in child development

Disney princess have had a huge impact on the lives of many girls , good/bad influence on children
Added pressure to girls that are growing up in society today
