Inspection of the neck reveals a healed scar from a surgical operation to repair an esophageal hernia. On palpation, neck veins are not distended, lymph nodes and the thyroid gland are not enlarged.

Inspection of the mouth reveals no viral infection lesions, there are no swelling and teeth have no cavities and gums are red in color. The chest movements are symmetrical, there are no deformities on inspection and there are no lumps on palpation.

On auscultation of the cardiac system, the four heart sounds are heard and there are no extra-cardiac sounds detected. Auscultation and percussion do not indicate organ enlargement of the abdomen. Inspection of the abdomen does not indicate any abdominal enlargement or scar. Palpation of the abdomen reveals normal sizes of the organs. There is no edema on the lower limbs. Musculature on both the hands is symmetrical, and the range of movement of both upper and lower limbs is not limited (Forbes & Watt, 2015).
