Reviews MUST include the following:

Book reviews should be at least 275 words long and they should include the following:
A) A sentence that identifies the genre of the book (choose from the list below), Names any awards the book has won, and Mention for what age group this book is intended.

folklore
Fantasy and Science Fiction
contemporary realistic fiction
historical fiction
biographies, autobiographies, or memoirs
nonfiction

B) A brief (1-2 sentence) summary of the book. Do not spend too much time on this as the evaluation of the text is more important than a thorough retelling of it.
C) An evaluation of the book of 4-8 sentences that explains why you rated the book as you did. Consider the effectiveness of the plot, characters, themes, use of language, illustrations, color, as well as texture or sound (if applicable). Also discuss whether or not this book would be appealing to young readers and why. You may also explore how you might use this book when working with children.
