What is Contiguous Memory?

If a process needs to execute, memory is asked for by the procedure. The measure of the procedure is contrasted and the measure of contiguous main memory accessible to execute the procedure. When adequate contiguous memory is found, the procedure is apportioned memory to begin its execution. Else, it is added to a queue of holding up procedures until adequate free contiguous memory is accessible.
