Abstract
This study examines the developmental view that attachment influences an individuals life, from a social constructionist perspective. The researcher goes into more detail, exploring how the concept of attachment can affect a persons development. A qualitative, thematic analysis was carried out on a pre-existing, filmed semi-structured interview. Thematic analysis showed that attachment throughout the lifespan can influence development and relationships in adulthood.
