Neoliberalism is slowly affecting the education system. All schools are being forced to be academies.

Based on ideological neoliberal ideas, academies and state schools are just the same. They feel like business people will have more knowledge as they are ‘business minded’.

By 2020 all schools will be academies.

Academies do not need to follow the national curriculum, they can do whatever they want.

There will be social divide between the poor and the rich, people will not be able to afford to stay in London- only for rich people (standing up for londons education)

People with low life expectancy are seen to have no value in society.

Neoliberalism doesn’t care about humanity, cares about profits.

Higher education- implemented ideologies to make students think this is normality.

Going to teach their students to pass because of their league table. They have been taught to get the grade the university needs. Although students do not have a voice they close the gap by training them well.

Success is measured by exam/results.
