referral for another type of assessment. They have been using curriculum based assessments in reading and math but
Sam has still not reached the level identified in his IEP. Describe what you would recommend for the next logical
type of assessment to compare Sam’s current level with others his age. Determine is eligibility for Tier 3 special
Ed, identify his strengths and weakness for the purpose of designing a one on one program of intervention.Suggest

2.If a student in your class is suspected of having receptive language disorder. What steps would you follow to
provide the best possible intervention plan.As you list and explain the steps, assume that this student has never
been referred for an assessment.Include at least one non norm refered assessment tool that would best evaluate the

3Please answer the following test question: A teacher asked a class to complete all of the examples on page
111 in their textbook. It took Juan four minutes to open his book and find the correct page, then two more minutes
to begin working on the examples. The teacher claims that it always takes Juan too much time to begin independent
work. When planning to do an observation of Juan, considering differnt recording techniques used in special ed,
which method would be best used to describe Juan’s behavior. Describe the method and explain why you chose it over
other options.
4The national council of teachers of mathematics envision that all students even special needs student should
be doers of mathematics.Describe a fictitious student with special needs by giving the student’s age and or grade
level and a brief description of the special needs. Then list and explain three different ways that you can ensure
this student can be a doer of math
