police work

Compare what the article says to what is traditional policng, which involves police patrolling, responding to calls, giving citations, making arrests, and doing what we tradtionally think of as “police work.” What are the diferences between that and community policing? Which do you think is better, and why? Be sure to give examples of the strengths of the method you think is better for police to use as a crime fighting technique.
