Abstract
This study aims to identify how life experiences and early attachments influences a persons development. A Thematic Analysis was carried out on a pre-existing data extract from semi-structured interview. This data revealed three significant themes, the interpretation of these themes demonstrated that life experiences can change attachment styles and can affect how someone forms relationships.
Introduction
The theoretical framework of this report was looking at the perspective of attachment and the influences of early childhood attachment on relationships in adulthood. The ontological assumption was that humans showed the ability to talk about their experience and the meanings behind them (course team, 2007).
