Term Paper: You will select a topic from a list provided by your professor and post it to the Term Paper Discussion Board. It does not need to be discussed. Just list it. Only one student per topic.
An original research paper, not to be submitted for credit in any other course is required.(TurnItIn will let me know if it has been previously submitted.) It must be 10-12 pages (referring to the body of the paper), 12 point type, and double spaced in its entirety. APA format is required, including the cover sheet. Failing to adhere to APA guidelines will result in a failing grade, regardless of how well it is written.Refer to the schedule for the due date for the term paper & ORAL PRESENTATION dates.

DEDUCTIONS – (over 50% Turnitin originality score is unacceptable – student must resubmit to pass the course)
5 points per day late
Grammar, spelling, etc. – 1 point to 40 points
Set-up, spacing, font, etc. 1-10 points
All online sources – 5 points (must have at least one hardbound source, meaning a book)
Originality – minus 1 point for every % over 25
Use of Wikipedia – 1 point every use
