1. Investigate the current food trends using sources such as retail markets, restaurants, internet, recipe books, magazines, leaflets, newspapers and TV programmes,
2. Identify the target market of Iceland and produce a consumer profile for it by using existing market research e.g. Mintel, IGD. The profile should include demographics, such as; age, status, needs and wants, dietary requirements. State where information was obtained.
3. Use the results of tasks 1, 2, to form part of the basis of your product profile, which you will use to evaluate our initial ideas as well as your final product. A Product profile is a list of criteria or product features to be used for evaluating the practical development.
