This is a written report that involve to research and study all the collection of designer Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture collections from Autumn/Winter 2004 until Autumn/Winter 2015 (remember there are 2 collection per year, Spring and Fall). You will need to analyze how the theme influences the silhouette, color, scale, etc. is interpreted into the design and how it relates to the total look.

Focus your research in the hats and identify each type used on the runway. Explain the importance of these accessory items to the overall vision of the designer for that specific collection.

These are some of the questions that you could answer as part of your research:
– Pay attention to all detail such as scale, color, shape, where it seats on the model’s head, materials and trims, etc.
– Are these designs relevant to the fashion industry?
– How influential are these designs to the Haute Couture design category?
– Is there an evolution from season to season, collection to collection?
– How could this research and knowledge impact and benefit you as aprofessional in the fashion industry?
