1. Explain the importance of diversity consciousness and why developing it is a conti-nuous process
2. Identify and discuss three examples of barriers to effective communication and, in-clude as well, a discussion about the ways in which micro-aggressions impact communi-cation.
3. Explain the relationship between diversity consciousness and communication.
4. What does “Stepping outside of ourselves” mean? Describe a time when you have done just that.
5. In a meritocracy, social and economic inequality is primarily due to discrimination and prejudice. Do you agree or disagree? Please explain.
