Report for Opera Performance
1. Start by writing a brief paragraph describing the event itself: setting, venue, and attendance. Make a special note of any unique or unusual occurrences that transpired.

2. Briefly describe your favorite character? What did you like about him/her? Describe their costume.

3. In a more in-depth manner, describe your favorite scene in the opera production? Why did you like it? Did it contain any of the following forms: recitative, aria, duet, trio, quartet, or ensemble scene. What was happening in the plot? How did the director enhance the plot with staging or other production values: lighting, sets, props or special effects? How did the composer enhance the meaning of the plot with the musical accompaniment? Did he/she use a special rhythm, melody, harmony or color?

4. Briefly describe what happens in the curtain call. Was it accompanied by the orchestra? Did anyone stand to applaud? Did any of the audience shout out? Which character received the most applause? After the actors take their bow, who else is recognized for their work in the production?
