An investigation of sex stereotyping.

The present experiment examines sex stereotyping by presenting participants with information provided by a male or female source and examines how the sex of the source affects participants interpretation.  Although no statistically significant difference was found between the two conditions, the experimental hypothesis  that sex stereotyping does occur  cannot be completely rejected, as small sample sizes and skew of data mean that such an effect may have gone undetected….(short extract)
