In this assignment, please contrast the accounts of alienation (whether implicit or explicit) related to two of the themes (race, gender and/or sexuality, technology, and nature)
To answer, you should 1) have a clear argument that addresses similarities or differences between the two; these similarities and differences may have to do with the social sources of alienation, the consequences of alienation, or the role of alienation in their social theory and 2) adduce and interpret direction quotations from the readings that bolster your argument.

Your response should be, at minimum, 300 words and should use proper grammar, have a clear thesis, be organized, and cite appropriately from the texts to justify your claims (i.e. if you cite a passage from the text, please be certain that you explain how it fits your interpretation; also, be sure to cite with page numbers whether you paraphrase a part of the text or quote it directly). The assignment must have an introductory sentence or paragraph that explains your overall argument and lays out the structure of your response.
