Project description
In this Unit, we’re beginning to get into the heart of Cisco router and switch configurations. Come up with at least five suggestions you’d like to put into a collection of “best practices” for administering a Cisco powered network. We can assemble them into a class collection of good ideas for everyday administration. You may use your textbook, or other sources that you cite.

Best Practice: Indicate your best practice
How: Describe what it involves
Why: Describe why you think it is something all Cisco network administrators should do.

In your replies to classmates, elaborate on their suggestion and why it is important to a network administrator.

Why: Line passwords are the first line of defense against unauthorized intrusion into the router. The “login” command in the series of commands specifies that when you attempt to logon to the console, you will be prompted for a password
