SES (socio-economic status)

The term SES stands for socio-economic status and takes into account income, wealth, education and prestige. SES is a ranking of where a person fits within a social class system. In America, we tend to think that if we try hard we can rise above our social class – this is referred to as Social Mobility.

This assignment has two parts:

PART 1. Create a table (similar to the one shown below) and list the ways in which SES affects a person’s life chances in each of the following categories. Make sure to add several factors for each category.
