1. Select an organisation that works with children and/or young people (e.g. club, play group, school, charity, etc.).

2. Negotiate access into the selected organisation.

3. Describe the organisation, its values, aims, and work that they do. Consider the institutional policies in relation to the UNCRC. As a minimum we expect you to do this by a document search that includes the organisation’s website, leaflets, policies, documents and/or interviews.

4. Discuss the opportunities, challenges and barriers to implementation of the institutional aims and policies. It would be appropriate to collect data from interview or interviews with key professionals in your case study.

5. Write your case study. Please look at the assessment criteria. You need to refer to core and supplementary reading.
