The topic of the paper is Paul Cezanne and his relation to and deviation from impressionism. AKA his borrowing and rejection of impressionism. Thesis: Paul Cezanne’s painting was both a compliment to and deviation from impressionism (for example).
Most of the sources must be hard copy forms, like books and journal articles (books will probably be most applicable). Good book = "Cezanne’s Composition" by Erle Loran.

How Cezanne was a "rebel" and avant-garde.
