Then you will explore the causal factors for the problems and express them as Independent variables. An e.g. could be that the organization is having employees with low job satisfaction which is caused due to perception of discrimination and poor team relationships. Then in this case the Dependent variable becomes Job Satisfaction and Independent variables become Discrimination/diversity management & Team Dynamics. Similarly the organization being studied by you will have different problems with their unique Dependent and Independent variables.
