Harassment in the workplace is not uncommon, be it sexual harassment or some other form of discrimination, unlawful employment termination, and other work-related illegal practices.

In this assignment, develop an action plan for an organization to prevent, monitor, and resolve all forms of harassment.

To complete this assignment, carry out the following steps:
1. Research the professional and peer-reviewed literature pertaining to harassment in the workplace. Your research effort should examine the following aspects related to workplace harassment:
-Types of workplace harassment, such as gender, race, religion, culture, national origin, and disability. Be sure to address all forms of harassment such as verbal, nonverbal, physical, and sexual harassment.
-Preventive measures that should be taken to stop harassment in the workplace.
-How would the above preventive measures be effective in deterring workplace harassment?
-Monitoring procedures to assure compliance with ethics policies related to harassment.
-Resolution of harassment claims.

2. Use the information gathered through research to create an action plan for a specified organization (probably Volusia County School District, in Florida) to prevent, monitor, and resolve all forms of harassment.
NOTE: I will provide you with information I gather from an interview (about the company’s ethics policies) with a key member of company’s personnel next week.

3. Carry out the following steps toward the completion of the course project:
Conduct research using professional and peer-reviewed literature to identify specific elements that should be present in a code of ethics to assure and enhance a strong organizational culture and ethical behavior in the organization. Your research effort and the summarization of findings should consider the following points:
-Elaborate on organizational issues that need to be addressed in the code of ethics.
-Provide logical reasons on why each issue is important pertaining to organizational culture and ethical behavior.
-Examine the selected elements in terms of development and implementation requirements.
