REACTION PAPERS:
Each student will write one Reaction Papers worth 10 points . A Reaction Paper is a brief 600 word paper “reacting” to an International Development issue from a relevant scholarly journal article, course literature, textbook case study, periodical, or report. The scholarly articles serve to facilitate a topical analysis of the unit just completed. Specific guidelines and requirements for the Reaction Papers will be distributed in class, and will be preceded by a lecture on conducting scholarly, university level social science research, to include the concept of a research question or hypothesis, review of the literature, research methods, conclusions, and geographic significance.
