1. Be able to apply knowledge of the characteristics and features of forensic evidence and analysis techniques in core areas of forensic biology
(2) Choose two research papers based on forensic analytical techniques which determine identification (not review papers). The subject of the papers must be based within different biological forensic science arenas and should be on the following topics:
a. Forensic Odontology
b. Forensic Anthropology

(3) Use the internet and forensic science textbooks to research your chosen topic.
(4) Create a scientific poster describing your chosen papers. On your scientific poster you must include the following sections:

A. Introduction – describe the characteristics and features of forensic evidence and analysis techniques in your chosen areas of forensic biology. This should include some reference to the scientific principles involved.

B. Study 1
Summary – introduce the aims of the research study.
Methods – describe the methods used making reference to the scientific principles where applicable.
Results – discuss the results along with tables and graphs of the data.
Conclusions – draw critical inferences and conclusions from the data.

C.
D. Evaluation
Interpret and critically evaluate the biological forensic evidence and analytical techniques in both studies.
Critically compare the two forensic analysis techniques and the analytical results.
