Development:the development or “body” of the paper will focus on analyzing how the meaning of the theme is shown in the story, through evidence (examples from the story, “briefly quoted or paraphrased and cited). Be aware that an analysis of a piece of literature is NOT a summary of the PLOT. Mention only details of the story that help explain or analyze the theme you are discussing in the story.

Your paper should be carefully proof read for sentence structure and punctuation and for paragraph structure. (For example, write complete sentences; have no one-sentence paragraphs; have no more than one main idea per paragraph; include transitions between paragraphs). The grammar, spelling and syntax should follow the conventions of standard American written English.
Be aware that an analysis of a piece of literature is NOT a summary of the plot or contents. Mention only details of the story that help explain or analyze the theme you are discussing in the story.
