Introduction (Theory)
In this section the students have to use their own word to describe the theoretical concept behind the experiment. The content should not be copy/pasted from the text books. The following tips needed to be followed:
Use passive sentences
The sentences must be in third person form
Do not put any numbers that is measured during the lab session in this section
Use any reference (textbooks, handbooks, peer-reviewed papers) in order to provide a comprehensive explanation about the theory. (commercial websites and documents are not accepted)
Scan or draw and insert any graph, pictures or figure into the text that helps understand the subject
The pictures/graphs/figures need to be numbered and numbers should be sequential and followed by a foot notes.
Different pictures/graphs/figures should not have same number
In the text, pictures/graphs/figures need to be referred to by corresponding numbers

Do not forget that the goal of writing lab report is to provide a document on how an experiment was done so that others can follow the instructions and replicate the experiment and get the exact same results.

Objectives
In this section the students should explicitly state the objectives and goals of the experiment. It can be a demonstration, or measurement or observation. The goals can be explained briefly.

In this section the instruments used in the experiment needed to be explained. The following information should be included in the report but students should not limit themselves from additional details.
The number of each instrument
The measurement range and accuracy of each device
Materials and their amount being used in the experiment
The picture of instruments and materials can be inserted in the text but not required/necessary.

In the text, pictures need to be referred to by corresponding numbers

Methodology
The methodology is a step-by-step explanation of how the experiment was done. It should include, but not limited to, the following information:
The setting of the experiments
Dimensions (if applies)
Timing (if applies)
Initial setups and values
The units must be clearly mentioned
All unit conversions must be explained and the calculation must be written
