TASK –

•    Using your physiological profile, that has been created for the athlete, make a comparison between the athlete and the standards provided. Make a decision which one area of fitness is the athletes weakest in relation to the requirements needed for a middle / midfield player in the game of Touch or AFL or Football. You may want to compare your results to the elite South Coast player.

•    Explain and Justify why the athlete has chosen this area of weakness in their fitness profile (reach a conclusion)

•    Based on the athletes fitness profile Formulate a specific training method and examples of drills to improve the area of weakness in the performers fitness profile, which was identified earlier (solve a problem).

•    Make reference to periodization of training in your response.

•    Justify your reasons for selecting the training methods proposed for a 1 week microcycle of your training program and make recommendations as to how this would make you’re a more effective middle midfield player in the game of Touch or AFL or Football.
