Smoking is largely a common issue that exists globally and plays a vital role in the life expectancy and death rates amongst social classes. It is one of the major causes of death. As smoking was the core theme I explored from my observation, I witnessed first hand the smoking patterns of individuals in great lengths. This essay will go into detail into how health inequalities exist in smokers in relation to their social status.
The first piece of literature I looked into was a research article done in Nigeria on smoking.
