+1 862 207 3288 Mrs X, whom I interviewed for this report, gave me consent to use her personal details and her responses and I confirmed that I would keep her identity confidential at all times (NMC 2008a). Mrs X is 65 years old. She is 1 of 5 children and has lived in Nottingham all of her life. She worked part-time for several years, when her children were young but spent most of her time raising her two children. She is now retired and was recently widowed in 2012. She lives with her Daughter in a detached house she has owned for 30 plus years. She now spends her time helping look after her grandchildren and enjoying retirement (Mrs X 2015a).
I planned to ask Mrs X questions about how she viewed her health and lifestyle, in order for me to put to practice the interviewing and communication skills I have learnt on the Open University course K117 Enhancing your healthcare practice see appendix…(short extract)
