Inequality is defined as a disproportionate share of valued resources throughout society, while difference refers to differences between groups of people, from physical and behavioural to differences in age, race and gender. This essay will highlight some inequalities and differences using Delamere Street in Winsford, relating to peoples perceptions which allow inequalities to continue overtime. It will also highlight differences in housing and the effects the large supermarket has had upon the street.
