+1 862 207 3288 This essay assesses how organisations and communities affect peoples behaviour and how they bring about social change. The three disciplines I will use to explain are Psychology, Management and Social Science. From a psychological view we will use Zimbardos prison experiment. For the management we will look at organisational culture within organisations and finally for the social science, social movements and how they work.
Firstly, Psychologist Phillip Zimbardo (1971) along with his colleagues set up an experiment whereby they created a fake prison. Zimbardo had two groups of males, one group played the part of the prison guards and the other group played the part of the prisoners.
