As you can see table 1 (The Open University, 2013, p 23.) contains quantitative data collected from the 2011 census – to tell us the ethnic make-up of the population of national parks in England and Wales. The different ethnicities are separated into 18 groups ranging from white British to Black African/Caribbean. From this table you can see that 94% of people who are on the census for the national parks are White British, compared to just .03% who are Black/African/Caribbean. This is a huge difference of 93.97%.
