Artist statement:Along with the genre piece, you will be writing a minimum 500 word artist’s statement

analyzing why you made the rhetorical and artistic choices you made in creating the piece. You need to

discuss specific features of the piece. You can also discuss whether you achieved your intended goals

or whether you fell short in any areas, and what possible revisions you would make. Be sure not to

simply summarize the piece or continue informing the reader on the topic.
