 Strengths and Opportunities Team Chart
 Your Reflection Paper
Instructions for Task 1 part 1 (Team Chart):
• You have been promoted to a LEADER position in your organization. Your task is to build and develop a highly functioning team

• The team you will lead consists of:
o Three new employees (Employee A, B and C)
o Four seasoned employees ( Employee D – H)

• For the 3 Employees, you do not know their Working Styles
• For the other 5 Employees you do know their Working Styles

Use the below scenarios to help complete the Team Chart for each employee
• Employee A and Employee B, who started three weeks ago (we are unsure of their energy dynamics at this time)
• Employee C, who started two days ago (we are unsure of Employee C’s energy dynamics at this time)
• Employee D, exhibits examine energy, who has been with the organization for five years
• Employee E, exhibits explore energy, who has been with the organization for 15 years
• Employee F, exhibits execute energy, who is currently on a performance management plan for attendance and professional behavior; Employee F has been with the organization for eight years
• Employee G, exhibits execute-excite energy, who is a manger and will report directly to you; Employee G has been with the organization for 10 years
• Employee H, exhibits excite energy, who is currently under review by the ethics committee

TASK 1 PART 2- Reflection Paper

Now that you have completed the TEAM CHART, you will write an emerging leadership plan using the tools and concepts gained thus far in the C820 course.
Examples of Tools and concepts you will use to develop your team are:
• Being aware of Bio-Reactions
• Ladder of Listening
• Cycle of Value rather than Cycle of Waste
• Observations rather than Evaluations
• Accuracy & Authenticity rather than Pretense and Sincerity
