The Plant Database was designed for the sole purpose of allowing a professional plant retailer to search a library of plant records and consequently create a proficient customer order.

This software will overcome the issue of using traditional methods to calculate and display customer orders in the plant retail business.  As with many procedures, the use of computer technology goes to improve the reliability, usability and speed of the data processing and output.

The functional requirements of this program were to be able to input a plant search, process the details of any plant found, and consequently give the user the opportunity to add or remove this plant to the customer order.  Being able to clear the customer order was also a prerequisite….(short extract)
