Heidensohn is a Social Policy Professor who encourages students to search for the truth  about why women commit crime. Heidensohn recognised that the topic of women and crime was an under researched subject.  Heidensohn took it upon herself to introduce people to this topic by giving an insight and an understanding into why women commit crimes.
