The notion of “terrorism” in international law: a comparative analysis of European and English Acts.

The purpose of this paper is to give the reader a general overview of the concept of terrorism as used in European legislation. Particular attention will be devoted to the recently adopted laws in the United Kingdom on the same subject. The concept of terrorism is examined, however, in both cases under a specific profile, that is, having regard to the genre of legal language through a critical analysis of the descriptive mode, legal language and the terms, as used in different normative texts.
