The work to be developed within the scope of the discipline consists in the identification of a project and development of the respective Project Plan following the methodology and the tools approached throughout the discipline. For this they may consider a virtual or real situation, personal or professional. This Project Plan should reflect (at least) the application of the nuclear processes of the Initiation and Planning (PMBoK) phases, objectively transmitting the way they were worked out. In order to value the Project Plan to be presented, it will be possible to use the support processes of the Planning phase to plan supplementary areas such as Quality, Communication, Risk or the Demand of Suppliers.
The student will have to submit for approval the Project Charter of the project he / she intends to work for by June 20, 2017, and may use the supporting documentation to make available several models that can be used. They can also create their own model according to the guidelines defined or still use models used in the companies in which they work.
Using the tool that they consider most appropriate to the knowledge acquired to date, the student will have to submit on the platform until the WBS of his project and the activities planned for each work package.
Based on the work developed, then the Project Plan that will have the Microsoft Project component and a support dossier should be created and submitted on the platform where they should aggregate all the information they deem appropriate. The delivery of works will have as deadline 07/18/2017 and all documentation must be delivered in an editable format (via platataforma).
If any of these 3 components of the final work is not delivered (opening term, WBS, Project Plan), the minimum conditions for the student to be evaluated are not considered.
The final evaluation of the work to be presented will take into account the following parameters:
– Presentation and Structure of the work (5%)
– Evidence of application of the PMI methodology (20%)
– Opening Statement (10%) with clear identification of the scope of the project to be developed, the objectives to be achieved, constraints and assumptions, etc.
– Structure and robustness of project WBS (25%) and identified activities
– Adequate application of Microsoft Project features in the presented project plan (40%)
The delay in the delivery of the work in relation to the indicated deadline obeys point 5.a) of Article 3 of the Regulation of Evaluation of Knowledge of the Atlantic Business School (defined … 20%, with a maximum delay of 5 calendar days)
OBS:
The Project Charter and WBS is already done. Just do the main project.
