-What should my comment include?
Here are some ideas:
-Explain how the text you are commenting on relates to the reading that will be presented in course.
(e.g.) week 5: how does Kosnick’s article relate to Georgiou’s contribution? Do
you notice any connecting points/ any differences?
-Illustrate the text with a personal experience, but please keep in mind that your input should not outweigh the reading discussion. Aim at this proportion: 2/3 reading discussion, 1/3 personal example.
-Situate the text in a social or historical context (shift from a narrow to a broader
perspective).
-Identify an idea that you disagree with and explain why your perspective is
different
