Philosophy
What is evidence? Clearly it is meant to have normative force. But is it mental – a state of mind? If
so, is it knowledge, or perhaps something less ‘factive’? Might it instead be extra-mental states of
affairs or conditions? Why or why not?

The main body of the text should be preceded by an abstract, marked as such, single spaced, in italics,
indicating in a few sentences what the paper is about: the main line(s) of argument, conclusions,
issues, or questions.
Closely related the topic question with the lecture content. Focus on the provided lecture notes.
