This report will begin by explaining who Harry Harlow and Mary Ainsworth were by giving explanations of case studies undertaken by them both. The author will then compare the way in which both studies results were evaluated, giving examples of the type of study used. Their importance will be discussed, highlighting any problems that were incurred and the changes that have been made because of these studies. Following this the author will then compile all of the information together into a conclusion.
Both Mary and Harry had ideas about attachments with mother and child and how different things can altar this attachment. They both undertook various observations and experiments to be able to prove their theories.
