The child I have chosen to observe is a girl named Annie, she is 3 years and 8 months old and has blue eyes and shoulder length mousy brown hair. She has two older sisters, aged 9 years and 5 years. Annie attends at least 5 sessions per week and has attended my setting since she was 2 years old; she is therefore very comfortable with all of the staff and the daily routines.
Annie loves the programme Peppa Pig, the colour pink, singing, dressing up and play dough. She is a very independent and strong willed child and copes extremely well in new situations, most recently her close friend left the setting to go to school and Annie coped especially well.
