Media research study

 
Paper instructions:i
Visit a national news website (e.g., New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, FOX, etc.) and find an article that is
reporting results for a published research study.** This study can be related to media or not. Then find the original
research article from the MSU library or the MSU E-Resources (e.g., google scholar). Print out the first two pages of the
research article and attach it with your written assignment.

Then discuss the following…
1. Details of the study – who conducted the research, the method, sample, and main results.
2. Did the news article accurately present the research method and results of the study? Did any part of the news
article appear to be biased? Why?
3. Is there any information missing from the news article that you think should have been included (e.g., missing
results, limitations of the study)?
