Select a literature search topic relevant to your practice. The topic must be sufficiently delineated in scope without being trivial. You will revisit this article in the Week Five presentation. Possible topics include but are not limited to:

To complete this assignment:

Goal: Identification and selection of a quantitative (experimental, quasi-experimental, descriptive, or correlation) or qualitative (phenomenological, ethnographical, grounded theory, or historical) original nursing research report

Select one article from a nursing journal within the last three years that is relevant. This article should report the findings from a primary, original research study (not a secondary analysis, integrative review of the literature, or implementation of research findings). Confirm that this is a nursing research article from a peer-reviewed journal based upon your readings or through a peer mentor. Document the reference APA formatand include the database from which the article was retrieved

You will not receive a grade for this assignment if the article is not taken from a nursing journal or is not a nursing research article.

Note: One of the purposes of this assignment is to determine your ability to correctly identify a nursing research article. This assignment will not be graded if the article chosen is not a research article, if not taken from a peer-reviewed / referred journal, and / or is not a nursing research article (possible loss of 8 points). Do not select a medical research article, or an article that reports the implementation of research findings. The article should report the process used in the original research. Compare the elements in your chosen article with those in the articles assigned to your team.
