Learning Activity #2: Intellectual Property Paper
Review Chapter 2 and read Chapter 5 in your text. Then write a 2-3 page paper examining the various forms of intellectual property.
To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need to be thoroughly addressed.
 Identify and explain trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets associated with your company. If there are none, or you are not currently in

business, research a company you are familiar with to complete the assignment.
 Analyze whether the intellectual property associated with the company gives the company a competitive advantage.
 Provide at least three sources. Citations to the dictionary should be provided on top of the required three sources. The Bible does not have to be listed

in the References page, but does have to be cited in-text.
 Use the Paper Writing rubric provided in the syllabus to ensure you have met all of the criteria.
