International Day Case Study

International Day Case Study

Attached is the ethical case to be analyzed in light of the combined questions. Analyze the case thoroughly, answering these questions and any others that might be important.
1. Who is involved in this situation, either directly or indirectly? Who will be affected by its outcome?
2. What are the needs, issues, and values of the stakeholders involved?
3. What are any laws, policies, regulations, or procedures that apply?
4. As a leader, what steps would you take to resolve this issue? Justify your actions.

Case 4.
You are the principal of an Independent School. Recently several teachers teamed to plan and conduct a large, elaborate community project recommended by the SEC: International Day. As part of the celebration, classrooms were encouraged to sell projects related to specific countries. The money was to go to fund special student activities. This plan had been approved by the SEC. When the money was turned in, it was clearly less than the activity of the event should have produced. This was the first time you had given the event, so the “money trail” was not clearly defined. What do you do, and why?
