Essay II: As the semester begins to end, it is time to reflect on the growth (or lack thereof) of human society and culture

throughout the semester. Write a thoughtful, well -organized essay that locates and identifies an example when either race,

ethnicity [a distinct cultural group that shares a common language, religion, etc. that is different than race], class, sex, gender,

or religion, was a significant factor in World History from the Renaissance through World War I and explain its historical impact

using historical examples to back up your argument. Student’s submission must include a title and Works Cited/Bibliography page, all

knowledge not gained from the course textbook and/or lecture must receive a citation. All assignments must have 12pt Times New Roman

font, double spaced and be three (4) pages long.
